Weekend Wind Down #1 | Face Masks

After a first term at Uni that felt more like a year than 3 months, I decided it was time for a bit of pampering. Instead of making a half arsed attempt, I went the full hog and made a night of it!

Here is my little routine for when I need to relax and make my skin look half decent...

First up I decided to go a little old school after watching this Skincare video by the lovely Megan over at WonderfulYou. She was talking about using a face steamer in her routine and I decided to dig mine out of the cupboard and give it a go! As you can tell its super duper old, but it does the trick.

I then went in with my Decleor Phytopeel to exfoliate and get rid of all the gunk and left over makeup *nice!*
Next up was the Flavo-C cleansing and exfoliating mask. This is one I actually received as a freebie from freshers fair last year. Getting there early definitely paid off, as this is a full size mask and I love it! Its more of a heavy duty peel, but its very fun to use.
After this I used my Soap & Glory The Fab Pore Facial Peel (which ironically enough isn't a peel). This is a nice clay mask that has beads in it that break up as you massage it in. It smells really luscious and visibly minimises pores.
Finally, just before I went to bed. I moisturised with a thick layer of Origins Drink up Intensive moisture mask. This is something I have been lusting after for a while after seeing it on the likes of Anna at Vivianna Does Makeup, Lily at What I Heart Today and Lily at LLYMLRS. I love this, it literally sinks into skin overnight leaving it super soft and glowy when you wake up. No effort required.
So there you have it. An absolute monster of a 'skin sort out'.
A review on the Origins will be up soon. If you want me to go into anymore detail about any of the things I used, just let me know and Ill be happy to do so.
What are your favourite 'me time' treats?
